Lifetime Learning

We begin the learning process from the moment of birth as we learn to touch, smell, and see those things around us. As I look back on my life, I see many things that I have learned. It would be impossible to list all of my learning experiences but there are a few that standout.

1. The lost of my father when I was only seventeen, taught me the value of life and not to take it for granted.

2. Serving my country in the United States Marine Corps, made me realize the world did not revolve around me.

3. My career as a law enforcement officer has taught me that even when dealing with life's most tragic events there are many good people in this world.

4. Finally, as a father I have learned what an awesome responsibility it is to have someone who looks up to you, and how heartbreaking it can be to let them down.
